Windows Phone’s Ease of Access
settings enable you to enable or disable various features designed to
make it easier for people with disabilities to use the device. You can
access these settings by going to the Settings screen and tapping Ease
of Access.
Adjusting the Text Size
You can adjust the text size as a way of
making information displayed on the phone easier to read. To change the
text size, go to the Ease of Access screen and perform the following
steps:
1. Drag the Text Size
slide bar to adjust the text size. Dragging the bar to the right makes
the text larger; dragging it to the left makes the text smaller.
2. Use the Sample box to preview your selected text size.
Enabling High Contrast
A normal Windows Phone 8 display (using the
default theme) displays some text in white and other text in gray. You
can make the text earlier to read by using a high-contrast display.
This causes all text to display in white. You can enable the
high-contrast display by going to the Settings screen, tapping Ease of
Access, and follow this step:
1. Drag the High Contrast slide bar to the On position.
