Removing Known Networks
Windows Phone 8 is designed to remember the
settings for every Wi-Fi network you connect to. If you intend to
connect your phone to a lot of public Wi-Fi hotspots, you will
eventually accumulate a long list of known networks. Some of these
networks might be Wi-Fi hotspots that you will never connect to again.
Fortunately, there is an easy way to delete references to unwanted
wireless networks. To remove these networks, go to the Settings screen
and follow these steps:
1. Tap Wi-Fi.
2. Tap the Advanced button.
3. Tap the Select icon.
4. Select the check boxes for each network you want to remove.
5. Tap the Delete icon.
