Removing a Keyboard Language
After adding a keyboard language, you might
later discover that you no longer want to use one of the languages that
have been configured. To remove support for a language, go to the
Settings screen, tap Keyboards, and then follow these steps:
1. Tap and hold the listing for the language that you want to remove.
2. Tap Remove.
Clearing Custom Suggestions
As you compose e-mail and text messages, you
will occasionally use words that are not built into the phone’s
dictionary. Windows Phone 8 pays attention to the words that you use
frequently and adds those words to the list of suggestions that are
displayed as you type. The down side to this behavior is that if you
frequently misspell words and don’t correct them, your phone may begin
to suggest those misspellings. As such, Microsoft gives you a way to
clear the phone’s cache of custom suggestions. To clear the custom
suggestion list, go to the Settings screen, tap Keyboards, and follow
these steps:
1. Tap the Advanced button.
2. Tap the Reset Suggestions button. When prompted, tap the Reset button.
