The To-Do List
If you choose to synchronize the Task List
from your Exchange Server mailbox (this can include Microsoft Hotmail,
Live, and Outlook.com email accounts), the items from the Task List
display in the calendar’s To-Do view. Of course, you are free to use
To-Do view whether or not you are synchronizing tasks with an Exchange
mailbox.
Creating a New Task
You can create a new task by opening the calendar and following these steps:
1. Switch to To-Do view.
2. Tap the New icon.
3. Tap Subject to enter a name for the task.
4. Tap Account to
change the email account associated with the task. Remember that only
an Exchange-based account works with To Do items.
5. Flick right on Reminder if you want to set up an alert for when the task is due.
6. Tap Due Date to select when the task needs to be completed.
7. Tap Priority to assign the task a priority of High, Low, or Normal.
8. Tap Save to save the task.
Notes
If you scroll down the screen, you can also
access a Notes field to add notes about the to-do task that you want to
keep in mind.
Editing a Task
If you need to modify a task, you can do so by opening the Calendar and following these steps:
1. Switch to To-Do view.
2. Tap the task you want to edit.
3. Tap the Edit button.
4. Make your modifications.
5. Tap the Save button.
