Sharing Music
Occasionally, you might play a song that you
want to recommend to a friend. If this happens, you can easily send a
copy of the song by following these steps:
1. From the song’s play screen, tap the menu icon.
2. Tap the Share option.
3. Choose the
mechanism you want to use to share the song. You can share the song
through e-mail or through Tap+Send. If you choose to use Tap+Send, NFS
must be enabled on your phone and on the recipient’s phone.
Playing Music Using Smart DJ
Windows Phone 8 devices include a Smart DJ
feature that automatically plays a music mix based on the contents of
your collection. The device provides one-touch access to the Smart DJ
feature. To use it, simply go to the Artist screen and complete these
steps:
1. Tap a favorite artist.
2. Tap the Smart DJ icon. The Smart DJ then plays tracks from similar artists.
Why Is Smart DJ Grayed Out?
The Smart DJ option is only available if you
have enough music available for it to work. Unless you have a
sufficient amount of music stored on your phone (or a Music Pass
subscription) the option is grayed out.
Accessing Playlists
You can play any playlists you’ve created by going to the Music+Videos hub, tapping Music, and following these steps:
1. Flick the screen to the Playlists page.
2. Tap the Play icon next to the playlist you want to play. To see the contents of the playlist, tap the list name.
