Adding Emoticons and Clip Art
When you compose an email message, Windows
Phone 8 gives you an easy and fun way to insert clip art emoticons and
clip art images into your message. To do so, open a new message and
complete these steps:
1. Tap the emoticon key on the onscreen keyboard.
2. Tap a category key related to the type of image you want to insert.
3. Tap the actual image that you want to insert.
Taking a Shortcut
You might have noticed that one of the
category keys looks like a clock. This is a shortcut key. Tapping this
key takes you to a screen displaying your most commonly used emoticons
or clip art images.
Emoticon Incompatibility
Some of the emoticons only work if
the recipient is using a Windows Phone 8 device. Recipients with other
types of phones may not receive the emoticons or they might be
displayed incorrectly.
