Check the Performance Status

Click the Start button, type perform in the Search box of the Start menu, and choose Performance Information And Tools from the menu to display the Performance Information And Tools window.

Note your system's score. You need a score of at least 3 to obtain full functioning of the Aero Glass effect, and you need a score of at least 4 to support all the Windows 7 features and programs that demand high graphics performance. A score of 6 or higher is needed for high-end multimedia and games.
