Scenario/Problem: You want to change the settings for an existing SharePoint group.
Solution:
To change a SharePoint group’s settings, navigate to the site’s People
and Groups settings page, as shown earlier in this chapter, and then
click the name of the group in the left navigation bar. Open the
Settings drop-down menu and click the Group Settings option (see Figure 1). The page that opens enables you to modify the settings for the group (see Figure 2).

Note
Although the group’s settings page
allows you to modify the settings for the group, it does not provide an
option to change the group’s security settings.
